Strawberry Smoothie

I love China Glaze's Strawberry Smoothie. It reminds me of strawberry milk. I only used 2 coats and possibly should have done one more. I see some faint nail lines when I see it in a certain light. My nails are the longest they've ever been (real anyway) so I'm waiting for a break. I KNOW it's just around the corner! But that's okay because Qtica plus pre-natal vitamins has them growing faster than I ever thought possible.

I know I haven't posted in a while. I've been wearing a lot of repeats. But I wanted to try a Halloween manicure. I bought one of the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens in black and tried doing the tips in black with Tangerine Tint by Finger Paints for the main color. But the pen wouldn't make a smooth line and it kept streaking when I went to put on the top coat. So I switched to a black polish and started over. But that streaked, too! I did it a 3rd time and let the whole thing dry a good 20 minutes. Then I used Poshe. I still got a couple of streaks but by this point I let it be. I think it's fine as long as you don't look at it too close.

A few days worth....

Periwinkle. At least 4 coats as this goes on very sheer. My camera does not do this justice. It has an underlying shimmer of different colors, which make this an almost peacock blue.



Midnight Star. 3 coats.



Electric Lilac. Very thick. Peeled right off by the end of the day.

More Glitters and Azalea

Yes, I bought more.
L to R: Pom Pom, Glam, Electric Lilac, Dollhouse, and Carnival Lights. The glitter in Dollhouse is HUGE. I'm not sure how I'm going to like it.

2 for 1

I've still been polishing, I've just been under the weather and haven't felt like keeping up with this blog. I have been reading other's though.

Currently I am wearing OPI Lourve Me Lourve Me Not. I just love this. It's purple, vampy, and has an underlying pink shimmer. This is 3 coats plus top coat.

Earlier in the week I tried China Glaze Ruby Pumps for the first time. Another great one. Looks just like the Ruby Slippers from WoO. And it wore really well. I had it on several days without any chips. I can't recall if this is 2 or 3 coats.




Tomorrow is my husband's 40th birthday and we're heading to Tampa, Fl for a U2 concert. I'm going to keep the OPI on for the concert as it seems pretty rockin'! Have a great weekend everyone!

China Glaze Awaken

Another Romantiques. This is a beautiful gunmetal grey. Only needed 1 coat. The formula was a bit runny so clean up was time consuming. I'm finding I really like the grey polishes.

Hawaiian Punch

3 coats of Hawaiian Punch by China Glaze. And you can still see VNL so next time I'll have to use a ridge filler or something. But I love this color. It is so happy.
